Bad Manners

Bad Manners
Main Stage - Friday 9:30pm

After appearing at the first ever BWM Rally Bad Manners are back after popular demand!

Bad Manners are an English 2 Tone ska band who were at their most popular during the early 1980s when they Manners spent 111 weeks in the UK Singles Chart. Some of their more notable hits include "My Girl Lollipop", "Lip Up Fatty", "Can Can", "Special Brew" and "Walking In The Sunshine". One of the main reasons for their notoriety, was their outlandish huge-tongued and shaven-headed frontman, Buster Bloodvessel. His manic exploits got them banned from the British BBC TV chart show Top of the Pops.

As a four piece band based in Daventry, Northants, they pay homage to that great era of music, namely the Punk/New Wave of the mid 70's and early 80's hence the name "The Spirit of 77".

So if you remember that great music from The Sex Pistols, Buzcocks, The Undertones, The Ruts and The Jam, to name but a few, then catch this energetic and spirited bunch of lads, they will take you down that "Old Memory Lane".
